Tldr When my internet goes out, I hotspot from my phone to verify the licenses of my own fucking game purchases because I game share with my brother. If he makes your account the primary on his console, so that you can gameshare, if his internet connection goes down, he will be locked out of any games he purchased, but will have access to any games you purchased. You'd only be able to play the games he purchased, because you are essentially making his account the primary on your console. If you do not have an internet connection, PlayStation won't be able to verify the licenses of YOUR game purchases on YOUR console. Then he switches back to his account, and the games will be there, unlocked.Ī warning though, just a little qwerk of this setup. Once you have it set up, your friend can just log into your account on his PS5, go to your game library, and download any game. It can get confusing, but there are YouTube guides. You will (NOT - see Edit) need to turn on Console Sharing and offline play, logging into each other's accounts on the opposite console.
